Good books on the history of the papacy - ArturoOrtiz - 03-08-2015

I was wondering what is recommended as a good book or volume which gives a good balanced history regarding the history of the papacy.

I know that there are a few out there but I don't know if they are any good. The only one I know of which  I came across is Saints and sinners by Eamon Duffy but I have heard that there are better ones..

I haven't read it, but this might be good: http://www.tumblarhouse.com/books/vicars-of-christ.php
