LGBT heretical parishes? - GoodKingWenceslas - 03-19-2017

So I was on reddit talking with folks about people who go take the Eucharist who are not in a state of grace and who don't believe in the faith, and one of the people mentioned that there are gay "affirming" Catholic Churches.

I found a list of these parishes:
http://www.newwaysministry.org/gfp.html

Do they offer the Eucharist to practicing homosexuals? Would it be worth trying to find out? If they do is there something to do about it?

I wouldn't do anything more about it than you're already doing to stop the eucharist from being given to practicing heterosexual fornicators.

This one does.  I am well acquainted with it:

http://www.mhr.org/MHRedeemer/

This one does, too:
https://www.calnewman.org

However, in the latter case, several of them have the good taste not to approach Holy Communion.

In the first case parish, the entire parish is oriented toward homosexuality, openly.  Charming.

No, it has nothing to do with "having SSA" but having the moral fiber to abstain.  This is a full-on affirmation parish, supporting sacrilege by omission of leadership otherwise.

Would it make sense to tell the Bishop or a Cardinal?

I've done nothing yet. :/

Only the Ordinary in whose pastoral care the parish is, or Rome can do anything. And, I guarantee you, they already know, which speaks volumes.

So it would not be a good idea to try?

It also may be relevant that the first one is, I believe, the most financially thriving parish in the archdiocese.

While I get (I think) and agree with the point you're making, it's one thing to single out a person in a given, normal parish and make him the "designated sinner," and it's another to have a parish whose pastor twists Church teaching and doesn't just welcome homosexuals (as all parishes should), but condones homosexual acts.

Probably it would not be worth trying to ask if they do this to every parish?
