Bishop Gracida condemns Bergoglio for Vatican Garden Rituals - Eric F - 10-09-2019

By Most. Rev. Rene Henry Gracida
With regard to the participation of Francis in the travesty in the Vatican Gardens you can quote me:
“The participation by Francis the Merciful in the pagan rites held in the Vatican Garden is further evidence of his lack of concern for the canonical penalties he is incurring by his repeated participation in heretical and even occult religious ceremonies forbidden to all Catholics, especially one who sits (invalidly ?) on the Throne of Peter. But then he does not seem to have let the excommunication incurred by him under the law of Universi Dominici Gregis bother him and so the penalties incurred by him with increasing regularity these days become easier to dismiss. A day of reckoning will come for him as it will for each of us.”
Blessings,
+The Most Reverend Rene Henry Gracida

Bishop Gracida condemns Bergoglio for Vatican Garden Rituals - Augustinian - 10-09-2019

I'll admit, after this, I am kind of starting to see where the Benevacantists may be onto something.

And Scalfari is now claiming that Francis just said this https://www.cnsnews.com/blog/michael-w-chapman/scalfari-pope-francis-told-me-jesus-incarnate-was-man-not-all-god   My guess would be that there's probably a good chance he did.

I have the same question that Raymond Arroyo is asking. If Scalfari is so unreliable, dishonest, etc and is always misquoting Francis, how is it that he keeps getting interviews with him ?

Wow someone condemned Francis?? This is it guys, Francis is done for this time! We won. He won't be able to survive this rebuke. We did it!

If anyone wants to see some real confusion, browse the thread on this on CAF and see all of the libs scramble to try and defend what it clearly a heretical act: https://forums.catholic.com/t/amazon-synod-and-pagan-rituals/569821/40

Does anyone really know what happened in the Vatican gardens? It all seems very vague to me.

Imagine being one of those people. Who are they? I mean really what is their demographic? I imagine either cat ladies or ultra progressive Catholic University students. Nothing else makes sense in terms of who spends their time defending pagan rituals and pearl clutching when someone disagrees on a Catholic forum for fun

Bravo on the condemnation of the ritual, but it is important to sort through the Rhetoric.

Popes cannot incur canonical penalties.

So Bishop Gracida is faced here with a dilemma. Either Francis is the Pope (something he denies) and thus he may do evil things, but cannot incur canonical penalties, so this statement sounds great but is meaningless, or Francis is not the Pope (something he accepts) due to his evil actions is no longer a member of the Church (because he is a heretic), so also is no longer subject to the same law, and cannot incur further canonical penalties.

It's either one or the other, but not both.

Not to say that this is good but Pope John Paul II, you know the Saint, participated in pagan rituals more than a few times, not just witnessed them. If it's a sin against the First Commandment (and it is), then that Saint did so, and never repented of it ...

If this is grounds for suggesting those who hold Francis is not be Pope have a point, the only logical thing is to aslo deny that to John Paul II, along with his Canonization ...

Just saying ...
