It's Always The Right Arm... - Blind Horus - 03-02-2020

Every since Cain killed his brother Able, good shepherds have learned to defend.

So why is it that we always hold swords with our right hand?

If you are defending your flock from an attack you would naturally hold your sword, (or spear), with your right hand, so as to to strike at at approaching attacker's left, killing him as quickly as possible by piercing his heart..

Sword right hand, shield left hand.

This is probably why right-handness was so enforced in the past, to make good soldiers.

++++++++++++++

And, the shepherd failing to defend his flock, to him, God will make defenseless by the lost of his right arm.

O shepherd, and idol, that forsaketh the flock: the sword upon his arm and upon his right eye: his arm shall quite wither away, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened. Zechariah 11:17

Handedness is biologically determined.

Right-handedness has been traditionally enforced in all societies because around 90% of the population is right-handed to begin with.

Then, of course, one must consider "The Left Hand Path".

And that, of course, would be for goats?
