Two things:

1. Dom Gueranger says it shows Papal Supremacy.

2. A prince of the apostles, and an heir implies two things:  the office is passed down and that the office has lordship (primacy) over the Universal Church.

How blind I am!!! Thank you so much. If only the "Orthodox" would listen to their supposed ancestors in the Faith.
There was a recent thread about hoe the early Church was Catholic and the Pope was supreme and it's obvious, etc; but Protestants outright refuse to see the truth.
Theres a man I met on the Catholic Answers forum, who was a Coptic Orthodox, and is now Copt. Catholic; I should see if I can get permission from him to share his story with you all.
