I have to disagree with this. The only way back to having any power or authority is to start excommunicating. Let them laugh, let them leave. Did not B16 once say we may have to live with a smaller and more faithful Church? It will be a long journey back. But, the longest of them always begin with a first step.

Let them be anathema.
