The number of abusing priests is miniscule
And let's look at the John Jay Report and the US, obviously one of the worst areas.

10,667 accusations between 1950 and 2002.
6,700 accusations substantiated by the dioceses.
These accusations were against 4,392 priests.
4,392 priests out of the 109,694 priests who served the US during this time is 4%.
1,021 of these priests were contacted by police.
384 (6%) were charged.
252 convictions.
100 (2%) prison sentences.
3,300 were not investigated because the allegations were made after the accused priest had died.

.4% of these priests were charged.
