July 4 (no meat Friday) BBQ anyone?

I had hot dogs yesterday afternoon.

Yesterday evening, I cooked for over 20 people.  I cooked grilled Swiss cheese, avocado, bacon and tomato sandwiches on pumpernickel fried in olive oil with basil pesto spread on the outside of one slice of bread; leftover paglia e fieno from a similarly large dinner I cooked Thursday evening; and steamed yellow and green zucchini tossed with a little olive oil and fresh chopped basil.

My penance was slaving over a hot stove.   :)
