By all means, VENT! You bring up excellent points. Some would say that there is a conspiracy to make the masses ill and what you vent about sort of illustrates this view. I don't know your housing conditions, but you can grow some of your own green veggies in pots quite easily, even if its on an apartment  balcony. Organic is generally a waste of money. Clean your produce thoroughly and buy the frozen, store brands when you can. Just these steps can reduce your bill and your health risks.
