I don't think that's their goal. I think it's the other way around - that the 'seamless garment' will get more pro-life Catholics opposing the death penalty. Or whatever else is included, like global warming climate change or the new issue of the day.

You're right, that's probably their real reason.  I didn't think of it that way.

Back when I used to go to NO Mass, I'd never respond to any "prayers of the faithful" that mentioned "natural death," aka anti-death penalty.

I always thought that was code for for human “euthanasia” but that makes sense, too.
