How nice. The church of many colours.

But look at the nice vestments! Roman chasuble and pontifical dalmatic (conveniently ignore female acolyte)!
![]() The picture of the lama seemingly praying to Christ oozes of syncretism.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm not sure what the problem is supposed to be here.

Relax people.
It's better than buddha statues upon the altar.

Is he really assisting, though? I'm not saying it is entirely without problem, but it doesn't really seem like a horrible outrage or anything.

I'm not particularly comfortable with this, but it has been known to happen. My TLM has an Orthodox man in the schola. Of course, given the closeness of Orthodoxy and Catholicism and the anonymity of this man's religion it doesn't send the same message as the Dalai Lama in the sanctuary.

He may be sitting in the choir stalls, but it's clear that he wasn't actually assisting in choro, as none of the other people sitting in the stalls are dressed to assit in choro. I know a lot of churches now just let anyone sit in the choir stalls during Mass, as assisting in choro has fallen out of fashion in the Novus Ordo with the advent of concelebration.

I find this picture far more striking:
