"The" Lady of All Nations and Our Lady of Akita
#1
I didn't even exist when this crap happened. But I've been doing some reading about them.

The Lady of All Nations seems so obviously false and demonic that I can't believe she is even mentioned in this stupid book that I'm reading about Catholic prophecy. Have you ever actually read her messages? She says AWFUL, evil, false things. She said MANY times that the Church needed to be modernized and spewed a bunch of crap about gobalism and ecumenism. She called Jesus the "prince of this world" which is a biblical title for Satan, and the image of her is so obviously blasphemous that I cannot believe they recreated it in Akita.

Which brings me to Akita. Why does anybody believe in Our Lady of Akita when the statue that came alive and told a bunch of secret stuff was a statue based on a demonic apparition? Mary does not belong in front of the cross, but at its foot. She is not the goddess of this world, but the queen of heaven.

And so then, I hear a lot about the co-redemptrix, mediatrix, and advocate. Those are all titles that I already think of Mary as. But this strict petition for Mary to be given these titles first popped, as far as I know, at "The" Lady of all Nations. And since when does Mary call herself "The" lady? She is OUR Lady. Never before has she referred to the Pope as anything other than the Holy Father as well, at least not until she became "The" Lady. Remember that the prayer originally said "who once was Mary." This whole thing seems Satanic. Weren't a bunch of followers of this excommunicated recently?

All this crap happened decades before I was born, so what in the hell did I miss?

Our Lady of All Nations and Akita have both been approved by the Church.  I'm just providing information, not commentary.

Oh, and you might want to find a foxhole, soldier.  I sense an incoming barrage. :tiphat:

I'll just be under here.  :safe:

You'd better slow down with this one, Soldier.

No I look forward to see how people here will rationalize this:

"“A lot, however, has to be changed in the Church. The formation of priests will have to be changed: a more modern formation, suited to the times, yet good, in the good spirit.

The Lady says the latter with emphasis.

I suddenly see a dove flying around my hand. It is being held, yet it is flying around continuously. The dove is sending forth new rays.

The Lady then points to the Pope, and says,

Breadth has to come, more social. Various movements are tending towards socialism, which is good, but it can be done under the guidance of the Church.

And:

"“The Catholic Church can certainly grow larger, but ...”

and then she breaks off and I see long lines of priests, students, nuns, etc., walking past me.
Once more the Lady shakes her head and says with emphasis,

“It is too bad, but this is good for nothing.”

And again she says,

“This is good for nothing.”

She looks ahead severely. Then she points at the students, priests and clergy, and says with emphasis,

A better formation, keeping pace with the times, more up-to-date, more social.

From my understanding this isn't exactly true. A few clergymen saying positive things about an apparition doesn't make it approved by the Church. Even Medjugorje had the praise of clergy, did it not?

You may be right.

I'm also looking forward to the rationalizations.

So what exactly does approved mean? How long until Our Lady of Akita appears here: http://www.fisheaters.com/apparitions.html

FOR THE RECORD: I do not object to anything that Our Lady of Akita said. I like what she said. I only take issue with the fact that the statue which came to life and cried was a the statue of The Lady of Nations.

I noticed under the Akita link at the very bottom it said this:

"Despite claims that Cardinal Ratzinger gave definitive approval to Akita in 1988, no ecclesiastical decree appears to exist, as certainly would in such a case. However, some individuals, such as former Ambassador of the Phillipines to the Holy See, Mr. Howard Dee, have stated that they were given private assurances by Cardinal Ratzinger of the authenticity of Akita. In any case, in keeping with the current norms, given the absence of a repudiation of Bp. Ito's decision by his successors, or by higher authority, the events of Akita continue to have ecclesiastical approval."

From what I've read it is approved by a local bishop but that isn't the same as an approval status that apparitions like Fatima enjoys.
