None of those statements are what you put in quotes when you were alluding to what I said.
They corresponded perfectly.
Quote:Saying people don't have to purchase a product if they don't want to, is certainly not telling anyone to shut up.
Uh-huh. So your point was that people can buy or not buy things if they want to. Did you think no one here knew that? Why would you mention it? You had a purpose, presumably, in stating the obvious, so what was it?
Quote:Saying my son has a good bunch of friends is certainly not saying I never have to worry about him, or that they are all fornicating.
Barring death, disease, natural disasters, some sort of crime or tort against him by others, and accidents, what would you have to worry about?
Quote:Reposting what I have previously posted is no defense to your actions.
On the contrary. My reposting what you wrote shows exactly why your thinking has been characterized as it has been.

Farronwolf, if you want Catholic discussion, why don't you post in a subforum other than Secular News? You might find more agreeable discussion in Catholicism.
In Secular News, a far right and Trumpist outlook prevails. If you are truly Catholic (and I have no doubt that you are), you should find more agreement in Catholicism.

Popes, ecumenical councils, and/or Scripture have condemned:
1. Contraception
2. Abortion
3. Fornication
4. Sodomy
5. Socialism
6. Modernism
7. Indifferentism
8. Atheism
The entire Democrat platform is incompatible with Catholicism. The only way to make it appear compatible is to ignore the details of its implications and speak in vague platitudes about helping your neighbor or giving flowers to immigrants or something.
And don't get me started on centrism. The ignorant centrist forces the world to keep enduring this conversation:
Alice: Abortion is murder. We should outlaw abortion.
Bob: It's just a bundle of cells. Keep your Rosaries off my ovaries.
Centrist: The truth is somewhere in the middle. We should kill only some babies only some of the time. You're both stupid and I'm a genius.

Really, you decide who is Catholic and who isn't? The Church is pretty clear as to who is Catholic and who isn't. Might look into it sometime.
I can assure you I have all the proper Baptismal, Confirmation, Communion, and Marriage paperwork to verify that I am Catholic.
I am not here to stir up trouble. It is a forum for discussion.
It is clear that many here think if a person doesn't agree with what they think a Catholic should believe they are not welcome, even though the Church clearly disagrees with their thought process.

I appreciate your advice. I don't disagree that there are many Trumpist in this section. My hope is that they will find the error of their ways and return to what our faith actually teaches.
I don't have much hope though. Seems some folks have made a golden calf of him and are nearly to the point of worshipping it. And this is happening at what is supposed to be a meeting of conservatives. Will the idiocy ever end.

Scripture and the Church condemn a whole host of things, some of which seem to readily acceptable by a segment on this forum. God makes it pretty clear things he will not tolerate.
16 Six things I will tell thee, and name a seventh for good measure, the Lord hates and will never abide; 17 the haughty look, the lying tongue, the hands that take innocent life, 18 the heart that ever devises thoughts of mischief, the feet that hasten upon an ill errand, 19 the false witness whose every breath is perjury, and the sower of strife among brethren.

This is what fake Catholics do: Push heterodoxy and, when confronted, accuse their opponent of having caused the conflict.

You come on here and tell us there is more than 2 genders. You need to also appropriate and cultivate the faith too. You're more like a Judas Iscariot then a Catholic.

There are more than two genders. Science backs this up.
Who are you to judge who I am like. You know virtually nothing about me. Just more name calling by so called Catholics, what part of the faith is that cultivating?
