What's the most disgusting thing you've ever eaten?

Probably an apple! Let me explain. When I was a boy, Dad and I were outside working. I was eating an apple and, as far as I was concerned, I was finished with it. I threw it away and it landed in a fairly dry cow pie (if you don't understand that, you didn't grow up in a rural area! LOL!). Dad said I was wasting food and made me finish it. Now, that would be child abuse. Then, it was instilling the virtue of thrift and 'building character'.

Liver - just for the texture.  The flavor I actually think isn't that bad.

Kholodets - a Russian dish of pickled meat in savory aspic.  Blech.

One that sounds gross but I never tried, so not sure.  When I was in Moscow, I walked past a pizza place every day on my way to school.  But they didn't really get the concept of pizza, so they switched out the pizza sauce with mayonnaise.  Not Hellman's, Duke's or Kraft, but Russian mayo, that sort of curdles when it cooks.

I'm NOT a Marylander.  I just live here...I guess as a form of penance :-).
