Yuck! Raisins!  Also a healthy food that will ruin a good cookie.  I should probably give oatmeal cookies a second chance.  I base my dislike on the cheap, store bought, rock hard oatmeal cookies that my grandmother used to give us.  We used to smile politely and thank her and choke them down with two or three glasses of milk.  Then again, maybe thinking they are all yucky will save me many calories.......

I bought a huge (read large enough for dd and I to split with leftovers) chocolate chip oatmeal cookie at a health food store and it was so good that I had to completely revise my opinion of oatmeal in cookies.

But I still can't stomach raisins in cookies, breads, puddings or anything else where they are cooked.  They soak up the liquid and rehydrate making them thoroughly gross.  If I want a dried grape - I eat a raisin.  If I want a grape that isn't dried - I eat a grape.  No turning a grape into a raisin and then trying to turn it back into a grape.  Yuck! :D
