Color in Nature: God as the Master Colorist
#1
I came across this video and it got me to thinking (again) about the masterly way in which God made things. Look at the subtle colors of these jellyfish against the water! It's all sort of impressionist-looking, like something Monet would've come up with. Youtube description of this video:
Quote:The jelly fish came to this lake in Palau through a tunnel which connected the sea and the lake long time ago. Now the tunnel has closed, and the jelly fish came to have no poison in an environment where there's no predator... This lake is such a heaven to them that there are just so many of them living here.

Jellyfish Lake

Look at the colors of these peacock feathers, of this humingbird against a flower, of this river and mountains and sky, of these grapes in Autumn, of these Autumn leaves -- isn't what He's made just beautiful? Nature never clashes. I've never seen a naturally growing flower and thought, "Hmmm, it'd be better if the grass it were growing against were a different color."  Everything always just fits aesthetically. Color, form -- it's always as it should be. Anyone have more pictures or video like this -- things that reveal God as "Artist" -- specifically as The Master Colorist? (JLeigh, post more pics that you've taken!)

The hymn of Sidrach, Misach, and Abdenago, sung to God while they were in the fiery furnace:

Daniel 3:52-90 Blessed art thou, O Lord the God of our fathers: and worthy to be praised, and glorified, and exalted above all for ever: and blessed is the holy name of thy glory: and worthy to be praised, and exalted above all in all ages.

Now that is truly magnificent. I had the privilege once when I was about four to see the northern lights, and even from that age it has always left an impression on my mind.
