I love how they crack down on the pro-ana sites, yet child porn runs rampant. Uh huh. And the "pro-anorexia" sites (or "movement") are really more like "not ready for treatment" sites or a place where anorexics can discuss problems without being banned for "triggering". There's more freedom to discuss the problems and issues. It's something I'm intimately familiar with.

I don't "understand" anorexia at all.  No guy, and I mean none, would like a skeleton for a girlfriend/wife.  And thus from the perspective of pure vanity, anorexia is ridiculous.  Furthermore, most women slightly overweight look between fine and great, as it indicates a healthy body for which to carry and nourish a child.

You are in a group with very few members. Most men have either been tricked into wanting model-looking girlfriends, or they wanted it from the start. Most weight loss membership packages in this country are bought by men, for women.

It isn't necessarily about what the guy wants, but what women are told men want.  Look at how popular women are portrayed by media, etc.

I agree with you that meat is for man, bone is for dog, so to speak.  The thing to do is convince young girls about that before they end up dead.  In some cases, anorexia and bullemia can leave young women sterile, too.

Eating disorders are not about looking attractive to men anyway.  It's not really about looks much at all.
