Uh, how can 500 million Americans lose their jobs everyday if we there aren't 500 million Americans to begin with?

There is an upside to having "leaders" like her in office: the material for comedians is endless.  Too bad the unborn have to pay a price for her and her colleagues' views.

Except you probably won't hear much about her error in the news, or it might be mentioned in a couple jokes on late-night TV and that's the end of it. Now, had a Republican said something like this, he'd be branded as an idiot forever and mercilessly mocked by the media.

...and have a perpetual honorable mention for the flub in our kids public school history textbooks.
edited to add: Did anyone else ever wonder if Pelosi thought the "Doctors of the Church" were actual medical doctors?

Well, she's still waiting on her Bishop in San Francisco to make a housecall at her Georgetown residence. She never seems to find the time when she's in San Francisco.

Nothing surprises me about her anymore.

We are reminded of Bush's flubs, but not all of them were as bad as this Pelosi gem. One time in 2001 during Bush's first few weeks in the White House he was interviewed by TV Guide and waiting for him was a loaded question: Who is the General of Pakistan? Bush disn't know, to which TV Guide chided him, how can you be president if you don't know these things. The retort from Bush was, Who played the professor in Gulligan's island? TV Guide didn't know and Bush said, you should know since it is your business to know show business. Quite a witticism!

Ahh, it's like the Holocaust, what's the difference what the number is, she might as well just said 5 billion.

But if you don't accept her 500 million number, you might be labeled a "Pelosi-denier".......

Oooh (shudder), perish the thought.
