The Pope has spoken clearly

All right everybody, calm down. 1) Just because Williamson hasn't specifically condemned Nazism, doesn't mean he supports it. 2) There was no justification for what Hitler did, it isn't a matter of "may have handled it badly". He committed murder, and there is no good reason for it.
There's no need for name calling on either side.

Will professing the fact that "there was and still is a swimming pool at Auschwitz" become an article of Faith?

I only found out about this the other day while researching this due to the flap in the media.  I watched a film on youtube by David Cole on Auschwitz.

I keep thinking about all of those solemn ceremonies and other hoops the Pope had to jump through and all the talk of "Hell on Earth" and all the while there is a swimming pool with starting blocks and pedastals for diving  boards.  The incongruity is amazing to me.  I don't feel as guilty for thinking at the time that the buildings didn't look to bad to me.  I've seen neighborhoods in modern cities that make that look like upper middle class living.   I'm tempted to photoshop the Holy Father next to the swimming pool just to emphasize the incongruity.

Can you provide me a link to that video?

By the way, have you read any of the work by dr. Germar Rudolf, now imprisoned in Germany?

I had read that but it reads like a Cardinal Mindszenty confession.  I had read that he'd had to go into hiding from death threats and such.  Probably too much for an atheist to bear.

In either case, he just calls his previous work names like those who think an emotional appeal has any bearing on the facts.

It's broken up into parts on youtube but it looks like the whole thing is here in only two parts.

The first 3 and a half minutes are an introduction with a screen crawl.

Here's part one on youtube

No I haven't. I'll have to look into it.  I've been so preoccupied with trying to find good information on the Inquisition, the Crusades, the Galileo affair, the Vatican II crisis and Evolution that I've not had a lot of time to dig into this.  It's also a hot potato issue and except in the case of Pope Pius XII not really worth the fight.  Of course finding out that people have been imprisoned brings shades of Orwell and the thought police to life.

I didn't realize at first that this was from Papa Stronsay. It's a bit ironic, since the Swedish hit-piece video on the SSPX mentioned that the man who originally brought the SSPX to Sweden was accused of being a neo-Nazi, and he has now become a monk in Papa Stronsay.
