Seriously...if anyone actually read what Vatican II REALLY said, and not the amazing "spirit of Vatican II", they would see how the whole "progressive" Catholic movement is full of it.

Exactly.

VII is a bit sloppy and it is hard to see what its value is, but in the end, its actual text is rarely followed.

If it were followed to the letter, the mass would be essentially the same (in Latin, no altar girls, same altars, no lay people doing weird things, no turning around unless it was previously celebrated facing that way, etc) and the practices would be minorly revised (indulgences and feast days would have different classifications).
