Shrove Tuesday pancakes should be very rich and delicious, since traditionally you would be using up your eggs and butter making them. They are particularly traditional in England due to a legend of some woman who was still flipping pancakes when the church bell rang for the evening service, and ended up running to church with her frying pan in hand. Now some English villages -- I've heard, not seen -- have some kind of relay race involving women with frying pans and tossing pancakes. So now you know, WRC.

Jaca, you are so much fun! I wish you didn't live so many states away. I do the thing with the hidden trinket and the king and queen, but on Epiphany.
