Washington, DC -- The Senate on Thursday night rejected an amendment from a pro-life senator that would have provided conscience protection on abortion for doctors and medical centers. The amendment comes at a time when President Barack Obama is considering overturning further protections.

Of course they did. "The One" will get whatever he wants.
It's going to become more and more uncomfortable to be a Christian in this country and for my part I think that's a good thing. It's about time to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Yes, Obama's road to socialised medicine must not be hindered by little things like "conscience". It doesn't matter that dedicated medical staff will lose their jobs, or even that hospitals may be shut down. Whatever Obama wants, Obama gets- or else!

I'm trying to figure out why it's so hard to find this story in secular news sources. I found an article in the Washington Post about a month ago, but other than that, it's been pretty darn quiet.

Since the beginning of his administration, Obama has pushed for some of the worst anti-life legislation we've seen. This man can silence the reporters he can't get to fawn over him. I have no doubt in my mind he would gladly ruin the careers of any medical professional who doesn't "play ball". The overturning of conscience protections is proof of that.
