Notre Dame's Fr. Jenkins vistied the President in Washington DC yesterday

Or at least the Notre Dame private jet flew to Washington DC yesterday and is still there today.

Catholic World News says there's a rumor that Jenkins is there to disinvite the President.

I bet that's a hard conversation for both people.

Well, since Obama is  a Democrat, clearly grounds for excommunication.........since Bush was largely the same(in principal, the same), none for others, he was after all, a Republican, so we continue to mumble and grovel.......

Sorry, Bush may have done some pretty stupid things but you've been on some other planet to say that Bush was largely the same in principle to Obama.

If they were "largely the same", why did Obama issue all of those executive orders, funding abortions overseas, harvesting embryos, etc.?

Ummm..niether Bush or Obama is a Catholic, so excommunication has nothing to do with anything.

Looks like one bishop is finally providing more leadership then Miss California.  Looks like Obama will be disinvited.  Congratulations to all who prayed and protested if this turns out to be true.

Upon what do you base your supposition of a "disinvitation"?  ???
