Wrong. There is no requirement except the presidential appointment and the approval of the Senate (I think, age, numbers and qualifications are not part of it though).

I could be appointed to the Supreme Court right now under the laws of the USA if the president did it and it was approved. There need not be nine and there aren't any other criteria.

Well actually, I was going to post something more like, "Sun expected to rise tomorrow," but it's the same idea.

I saw this coming way back when the Obamessiah starting naming cabinet members. I was so happy he made Shrillary the Secretary of State, as he could have promised her a Supreme Court nomination.

Can you imagine though if he tried to appoint her? I think the Left would do an "Exorcist" kind of thing.
