I've been waiting on this to get posted, thanks for bringing this back up.
It makes a decent enough case for mental reservation when you consider who the players in this tale actually are. Unless their telling is impeached, or their character, it makes a strong case.
I'm very concerned and a bit confused though: If true,
and if BXVI believes this (and according to this account he
does) then
he's certainly in the position to do something about it, and I'm not talking about a 'mere' motu proprio.
If true, it's not 'mere' liturgical changes, this is having an effect on the Church, and the world, so what's the Pope waiting for if true...what gives? ???
Unless....

This comes up time to time.
In the good old times the Holy Mass was Holy mass, and the Divine Office was Divine Office not liturgy. The world liturgy was used to litanies, the form of sacramentalia and so on. Also everry Catholic believed that the Chruch will be governed y the enciclicas of the popes. The concept of council for change was brand new indea introduced 20 years after Sister Lucia wrote down the message.
If God wants to send a message to the people, He is using human beings and their vocabulary and understandings of the world, not whatever is used decades or centuries later.
As for the Vatican II almost all the bishops of the wor;d including Cardinal Ottaviani and Bishop Lefevbre signed the documents. The documents are not infallible, but Catholics are bind by it.

If true....IF.....then the series Popes who ignored that warning and carried on with the new springtime need to be dug up, burned, and their ashes trampled into a dung heap.
That is why I find it hard to believe that the third secret is really that explicit.

Isn't that... too easy, though?
Like, ok. I think we all agree Pope Pius XII was a good pope, right? Did he ever see the Third Secret? If he did, why would he permit the 1955 revision of Holy Week?
Anyone else find the 20th Century to be the most confusing for the Church?... I know I do.
