H1N1 - 09 swine flu

Just wondering what everyone else thinks.  :)

No.

My niece had it; she's fine. The regular flu is worse and more deadly.

Perhaps those at risk should be vaccinated or people who may spread it to this at risk, but it is a pointless scare.

I'm fairly reclusive... so unless a family member contracts the virus, or a sick kid comes to the door selling cookies, I should be okay. I never worry about these things.

I have a much greater chance picking up something nasty from the cats. (ringworm, twice :-[)

Exactly why I voted no.

Doing so might be a requirement of my continued employment because I work with high risk populations.  I get vaccinated for everything.

Oh, yeah.  And I'm also thinking of learning how to make Pepto Bismol frozen treats.  The recipe is here:

That's us, too.  Only, um, if a kid came to the door selling cookies (or anyone we didn't know or hadn't invited), we wouldn't go to the door..  :-[

I'm in the same boat as far as employment forcing the vaccine.  I don't know how to fight that yet.  Anyone have any ideas?

It's not the flu itself that really has me concerned as much as the cytokine storm.  That's what's really dangerous.
