Please try to make some sense beforing dismissing an economic theory and good Catholics that promote-and have-promoted it......I could feel and hear the "who gives a crap" sarcasm and attitude......if you do not support something, no need to get nasty...I think capitalism is secular heathenistic and largely blwon up by Prots, but no need to get nasty........
I was kidding :) I really don't know if it is fitting into your economic theory of choice or not. I also don't care that you post about it a lot, although it seems to bother others.

Quote:but, in a sense, it is distributist in that there is little control by hudge/gudge, though the CIA link to it neeeds more investigations.....it is oepn, free and decentralized for the most part.......so yeah, it is more distributist in the vein then say CNN, Fox,etc......many Distributists are on there, inc John Medialle and Richard Aleman......
Actually, it is very centralised. All data is processed at one source. This is why they are able to use email addresses to find so many people. I am registered on it, using my one of my alternative emails (I have 10 email addresses), and didn't contact anyone, yet, I got "friend requests" from people who were notified of my presense even then I was using not my legal name. All it took is one person to have my email address in their contacts, for it to link me to 10-20 people so quickly.

I don't know or care what they plan to do with all that data, most likely marketting and such, but Facebook is not the friendly social venue it seems to be. That is only a way to get people there to get their data.

A truly free and open way of socialising would be IRC on freenode, or a free forum, or a good mailing list.

Quote:stinky fishie for you (as that seems to be really important, though childish)

Thanks for notifying me about it. Most do not say what they do or why which results in an inexplicable number which jumps around...

I have never used the feature myself.
