Our Lady of Akita
#11
I put the search world Akita to the English version of vatican.va site. There come up three speeches of John Paul II (1982, 1984, 1991) all in Italian but apparently addressed to the visitors from the parish of Akita without details about apparitions (as I understand it), and two documents about a scientist named Akita who made some animal transplantation.

Would somebody point me to the documents of magisterial acceptance of the apparitions in Akita in the Vatican.va site?

If Cardinal Ratzinger stated that  Fatima is in the past, just a dream , etc... then I am wondering  why does he not openly condemn the  Medjugorje hoax?

The local ordinary has jurisdiction, and it has been condemned many times. I think the most recent one is

Thank you Rosarium,

But tto quote  MeaMaximaCulpa from the first link you gave, makes the point.
The Holy See needs to condemn the "visions" outright.  Its one thing to suspend the priests, but the problem isn't solved if the laity and religious are still traveling there.

Exactly, It is the visions and recycled messages  that need to be condemned outright.!

Ah, but the Holy See does not have that duty. It is the local ordinary. One cannot impose duties on the Pope; they are already defined.

The Pope is acting 100% correctly in this issue.

It was approved by the local Ordinary Bishop John Ito in 1984. The truly mysterious is the fact Sister was taught the Fatima Prayer, when in Japan at that time it was not known. It is obvious to most of us as to why, but the rest of the Church should be asking why. Many of the Fathers, but not all,  wrote about a minor chastisement which come before the Apocalypse. The fact that many wrote about gives credence to the idea that it came from the Apostles. Frightening for sure.It appears to me that the Trinity is determined to use Our Lady as an intermediary to wake us up.

Yes, even not heeding the bad will of the Vatican.
