Iranian Prez Congratulated Pope on Christ's Birthday ........

Ahmadinejad also wished for the continued health and success for the Pope and happiness and prosperity for all the followers of Jesus Christ and all monotheists throughout the world at the beginning of the Christian New Year.

Has any other "Christian" or Catholic world leader done the same? Has Obama? Not to my knowledge, I'm probably wrong, maybe somebody could help me out.

I don't understand this gesture, according to the Western Media, this guy is Satan himself or the reincarnation of Hitler.

He's got some nerve reaching out to the formost known leader of Christianity on the planet.

He's pure evil. :sneaky:

Ahmadinejad Felicitates Pope on New Year

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a message on Saturday congratulated Pope Benedict XVI on Jesus Christ's birth anniversary and the beginning of the new Christian year.

Following the teachings of the divine prophets is, undoubtedly, the only way to reach prosperity, justice, peace and durable friendship in the world, Ahmadinejad said in his message.

He also reiterated that eluding the divine religions is the root cause of all moral, social and political disorders as well as the economic meltdown in the world.

The Iranian president hoped for continued health and success of the Pope and happiness and prosperity for all followers of the Jesus Christ and all monotheists in the world.

Also in a separate message, Ahmadinejad felicitated the beginning of the year 2010 to all leaders of Christian countries, and expressed confidence that the new Christian year would turn into a year of peace, promotion of glory, welfare and prosperity of man's community in light of morality, spirituality, justice and kindness.

Ahmadinejad's an alright guy. He is better than anyone the "Christian" West has running the show, that's for sure. Ahmadinejad isn't playing ball with the New World Order, and for that he is hated.

I distinctly remember Ahmadinajahd speaking respectfully of Christ and Christianity in the past few years. You would never hear a tacky, "Clinging to their guns and religion" (Obama), comment from him.

He's the best thing in the Muslim world over there as far as I'm concerned that actually wants to have frank discussions about policies and negotiations with the West and Christians (And Jews for that matter). The thing with this guy is his priority is "What's good for Iran" before any International agenda, a lot of shady crap goes on over in that part of the world (like everywhere else really) with the exploitation of many of these Arab/Muslim countries, usually for big oil and usually by "christian" or Western nations and their big business.

Of course he's no angel but he sure as hell isn't the "new Hitler" our media has been portraying him as, anyone with the least amount of ability for critical thought can really see just what exactly is going on between Iran and certain "interests" in the West.

First of all, the U.S. policy with all it's "Defending Democracy" drivel, sure does a good job of slandering continuously one of the only true democracies over there in Iran. When the hell was the last time we pressured Saudi Arabia which is a Kingdom about "voting rights"? Or woman's liberation and equality? We threaten to go to war with nations that have free elections and never vocally threaten the West or "democracy" but coddle to ethno National Socialistic states like Israel with their unequal voting practices, human rights violations, failure to abide by U.N. resolutions or Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia which is probably secretly the biggest financier of "terrorism" and still has public beheadings for crimes against Sharia Laws.

But hey. let's all get behind Nuking Iran.

Everyone knows this is not the Vatican policy or Pope's position on these Persians.

And I was being facetious on the "pure evil" thing.
