You can read the story over at American Papist: http://www.catholicvoteaction.org/americ....php?p=781

By the way, I'm new here--even though I've been lurking around for months as a guest.  Hello all.

I thought it was going to be about a Church that had been sold and then turned into a nightclub. It's outrageous.

Here is a video of the desecration ----

Someone needs to pay for this, and i mean someone's head should roll.

Since when does the Church rent out the sanctuary? I can understand the basement or hall next door, but the Church proper? That is just stupid and irresponsible.

BTW - why was there no Church person monitoring this event in the first place?

And most importantly, where was Our Eucharistic Lord? Let's hope he didn't have a front row seat to this rapster nightmare--

It's also a violation of Church law.

BTW, welcome to the forum Credo_ut_intelligam.  Smile

ETA:

Can.  1210 Only those things which serve the exercise or promotion of worship, piety, or religion are permitted in a sacred place; anything not consonant with the holiness of the place is forbidden. In an individual case, however, the ordinary can permit other uses which are not contrary to the holiness of the place.

Obviously this is contrary to the holiness of the place and a pastor is not an ordinary.
