Who likes the Renaissance Pleasure Faire?

I like Ren Faires, generally, but there's definitely a lot of cheese factor. I don't mind people being inspired by fantasy, though. I even don't mind people coming dressed as imperial stormtroopers from Star Wars. Faires are more a celebration of geekdom than of historical re-enactment.

I wish there was more of a Christian element, but relatively few Christians are geeky enough to be involved in running these sorts of things.
