Honey Mustard Green Beans (For Texican especially)
I put these Honey Mustard Green Beans on my menu for this week and it sparked a memory that Roy the Texican had specifically requested this recipe some time ago! It's a good one...nice and light, not too heavy and so tasty even my kids will eat it up. ;) (I've also cut this in half as it makes ALOT for a side dish.)
So with apologies for the lateness (my memory stinks when pregnant..) here it is! Enjoy! :)

Honey Mustard Green Beans

* 4 tsp honey
* 4 tsp Dijon mustard
* 4 tsp apple cider vinegar
* 1 tbs olive oil
* 3/4 tsp salt
* 2 lbs green beans, trimmed

1. In a large bowl, whisk together honey, mustard, vinegar, olive oil, and salt; set aside

2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add green beans and cook until just tender, about 5 minutes. Drain well and pat dry with paper towels.

3. Toss green beans in honey-mustard mixture and serve warm or at room temperature.
That sounds great!  I just wish that I had read this yesterday, but I have a pork tenderloin that should go very will with this.

Thanks again!
Speaking of which, Carmen, our 7 yo, said to me last night,

"I like the food at Mr. Roy's better than here."

After I had served an asparagus dish similar to the one you served.

I need to smack her silly.
Maybe she wants to take another night cruise on the boat to nowhere...

I made the honey mustard green beans according to your recipe, and served them with some pork loin "steaks" - they must have been good, because they didn't last very long.  :eats:  ;D

Thanks for the recipe!

Glad you enjoyed it!  ;D
