One of my favorite prayers
Comes from the incensing of the Offerings at Solemn's this:

Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth, and a door round about my lips. Incline not my heart to evil words: to make excuses in sins.

This is a wonderful prayer that I want to memorize and say often.

Mine, too.
That's psalm 140.3, it is recited regularly in the Divine Office.  Pone Domine custodiam ori meo et ostium circumstantiae labiis meis.

I think this is where the Rabbis got the idea for the Talmud, as it is about "putting a fence around the Law"
