Never tried it, but am willing.

Yeah, Cherry Coke is sacred to me. You don't produce any other version than standard Cherry Coke. All those Zero versions are as nasty as the diet ones.

Cherry Coke is indeed the nectar of the gods.......they need to start selling 6-packs of the 20-oz. bottles though.....having a choice between only 2-liter or cans stinks.

I like it best out of a can but yeah, they do need more bottle sizes for it. If boring Coke can get every size under the sun, Cherry Coke can, too ;D

In the past this was the drink of choice in New England and Maine.  One of those things you either like or don't.  Taste Bitter and Sweet.  I happen to like that taste.  In College I did a paper on niche drinks.  This was one I featured the other real interesting was Ginger Soda of the Mid South States.  I am not taking about ginger ale.  Like Coke, Moxie was a medicine that someone added soda water too.  I believe Moxie contains Gentian Root which gives it that bitter taste and the naturalist believes Gentian Root has alot of benefits.

We have a "niche" soft drink here in Michigan (and elsewhere?) called Vernor's. It claims to be ginger ale but I think it's nasty. My mother loved it.

Vernor's has made its way to L.A.  I first saw it in the '70s... tasted ok.

Actually that gives me an idea...I need to see if I can find it in Dallas as an easily availble drink at some store or other....since it has been my contention that you can get anything in Dallas....I might have to reword that to..."You can get anything that is not so strange and cultish as Moxie in Dallas."

sorry...it looks like you can only get it in Houston

But you can probably order it and have it shipped to you.
