I'm actually not picky enough to say "Brand X is better than Brand Y" because I know enough that it's all the same thing, but the topic did ask for top 5.

Things would have gone better if you didn't add the word "diet" in there.

I'm not addicted to sugar, ergo I do not need every drink to have a pound of sugar in it.

Goose Island makes a Bourbon County ale that knows you off your butt.  Its 13% and absolutely the best beer I've ever had.

Several years ago I switched from Budweiser to Bud Light. I'm also familiar with Twisted Tea and Killian's Irish Red. I'm definitely not into Samuel Adams or micro-brewed beer, and I positively hate Heineken.

I'm a homebrewer, but I'm guessing that my own brews don't count...

OK, here we go, in no particular order:

1.  New Belgium Brewery's Frambozen (raspberry brown ale)
2.  Coopersmith Pub and Brewery's Sigda's Green Chili Beer
3.  Rogue Mocha Porter
4.  Anchor Steam Beer
5.  Guiness Stout

I'm not much of a hop-head, so the charms of an IPA are somewhat lost on me.  What's your preferred brand?
