I wouldn't think it would be a problem. It is only a method of selecting and slaughtering as far as I know.

They're worried that the animals aren't stunned before the throat is cut. It's more humane to stun first. Well, dead is dead. And stunning them first wasn't started to be humane, it was fo increase efficiency and make things safer for the slaughterer - a full-size cow thrashing around in a confined space could do some real damage to a man in the few seconds it takes to die. How do they think animals were slaughtered in the past, before pneumatic bolts?
