Something to Think About
#1
So, I collapsed yesterday and wound up in the ER for 14 hours getting scanned, morphine, etc.  All stable now.  But...I was able to pray the Rosary using a blessed olive wood "cheapy" brought as a gift from the Holy land.  I always have a Rosary nearby as I keep one in eavery coat, at work, etc.

Sure, you can pray it with your fingers, but I think there is a benefit to having the sacramental close by.

My advice, if anyone cares: Make or buy a dozen simple rosaries, preferably made out of wood as they don't set off metal detectors, don't rust, are not likely to be stolen, etc.  You can buy a dozen identical ones if you like for very little money.  Get them all blessed properly.  Put one in all key garments and locations (all purses, coats, work, suitcases, etc.).  And use them daily or as needed.

As someone who routinely takes ambulance rides, this has worked nicely for me.

Just a thought.

Hope you're on the mend.

Good idea. When this same thing happened to me (twice in one week) I was absolutely counting on my fingers.
