Crusaders of The Immaculate Heart

Crusaders of the Immaculate Heart is an organization made up of Catholics who offer prayer, united, for the following intentions:

1.)For the restoration of the Tridentine (Latin) Mass and Holy Mother Church

2.)For the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

3.) For an influx of vocations to the priesthood and religious life

4.) For the Bishops, priests, religious and laity of the Society of Saint Pius the X.



We will be starting the 54 day rosary novena for these intentions begining December 13, 2010 -February 4th 2011 and would like to invite all to join us in this effort.

For those of you participating in the 54 day rosary novena (thank you btw    ) please note that the last day of petition is January 8th, inclusive.  The novena continues on January 9th with 27 days of thanksgiving until February 4th.

For thirteen months Fortuna Agrelli, the daughter of the Commander, had endured dreadful sufferings and torturous cramps; she had been given up by the most celebrated physicians. On February 16, 1884, the afflicted girl and her relatives commenced a novena of Rosaries. The Queen of the Holy Rosary favored her with an apparition on March 3rd. Mary, sitting upon a high throne, surrounded by luminous figures, held the divine Child on her lap, and in her hand a Rosary. The Virgin Mother and the holy Infant were clad in goldembroidered garments. They were accompanied by St. Dominic and St. Catherine of Siena. The throne was profusely decorated with flowers; the beauty of Our Lady was marvelous.

Mary looked upon the sufferer with maternal tenderness, and the patient saluted her with the words: 'Queen of the Holy Rosary, be gracious to me; restore me to health! I have already prayed to thee in a novena, O Mary, but have not yet experienced thy aid. I am so anxious to be cured!'

'Child,' responded the Blessed Virgin, thou hast invoked me by various titles and hast always obtained favors from me. Now, since thou hast called me by that title so pleasing to me, 'Queen of the Holy Rosary,' I can no longer refuse the favor thou dost petition; for this name is most precious and dear to me. Make three novenas, and thou shalt obtain all.'

Once more the Queen of the Holy Rosary appeared to her and said, 'Whoever desires to obtain favors from me should make three novenas of the prayers of the Rosary, and three novenas in thanksgiving.'
“This miracle of the Rosary made a very deep impression on Pope Leo XIII, and greatly contributed to the fact that in so many circular letters he urged all Christians to love the Rosary and say it fervently.”The Novena consists of five decades of the Rosary each day for twenty seven days in petition; then immediately five decades each day for twenty seven days in thanksgiving. whether or not the request has been granted.

On the first day meditate on the Joyful Mysteries: on the second day the Sorrowful Mysteries: on the third day the Glorious Mysteries: on the fourth day meditate again on the Joyful Mysteries; and so on throughout the fifty four days.

we will be doing a 54 Day Novena of Rosaries for the intentions of:

~The Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

~For the conversion of poor sinners everywhere

~To make reparation to the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts of Jesus and Mary

BENEFITS TO MEMBERS

As a result of belonging to an organization each member receives the following benefit
In spiritual matters the merit is multiplied by participation and not divided.
Therefore each member receives the same merit as if he had prayed/said each and every individual rosary himself.

In order to enjoy the spiritual benefits of the Crusaders you must enroll in one of the prayer groups.

Group 1  is that of Saint Paul: Members agree to recite in common the 54 day novena of rosaries which occurs three times a year.

Group 2 is Saint Bernard of Clairvoux: Members agree to add the Crusader intentions to their daily rosary.

Group 3 Saint Pius the X: Members agree to offer decades of the rosary and other devotional excercises 
and also agree to have at least 1 Mass said for the Crusader intentions.

If you wish to enroll please select group 1-2-3 You can choose to be a part of one or all.
Beginnng April 24th 2011 we will be participating in the SSPX Rosary Crusade. .
