Prayer of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton:

O Father, the first rule of Our dear Savior's life was to do Your Will. Let His Will of the present moment be the first rule of our daily life and work, with no other desire but for its most full and complete accomplishment. Help us to follow it faithfully, so that doing what You wish we will be pleasing to You. Amen.

Thanks for posting this. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is my patron saint by confirmation and was part of my inspiration to go into the teaching profession. I think she helped me get my job this year, too.  :)  I owe her much gratitude.  :pray2:

Here is something that St. Elizabeth Seton wrote that I have always liked:

"I see nothing in this world but blue sky and our altars.  All the rest is so plainly not to be looked at, but all left to Him, with tears only for sin."

Happy Feast Day, St. Elizabeth Ann!
