I want to send a letter to the Bishop of Arlington, and I have some questions:
1. For the salutation of the letter, do I use "Your Excellency" or "Most Reverend?"
2. Bishop Loverde has a Licentiate in Sacred Theology and a Licentiate in Canon Law. Would the proper way to to address him on the envelope be:
The Most Rev. Paul S. Loverde, S.T.L., J.C.L., Bishop of Arlington
The Catholic Diocese of Arlington
200 North Glebe Road
Arlington, VA 22203
Thank you.
(I'm not sending a complain or anything like that in case you're wondering )
