My church always has a holy hour on First Saturdays.  Seven to eight people regularly attend.  Yes, the numbers are sad.

It is small; but worth it, I would imagine.  I can never be consistent about these things.... *sigh  I am prayerfully and spiritually erratic.

I want to start doing those devotions this month, however I have a question.

I know with First Saturdays you are required to go to Confession, Mass, and say the rosary. All of which I can do.

What do you need for First friday? I have heard two things. one website said that going to mass, or going to confession, or saying certain prayers can all count towards first friday. Another website says you have to go to mass. What if you can't get to mass on fridays?
