I figured this was coming. He's been under an unrelenting attack from the left. He'll keep on goin', but not as a regular show spot on Fox. I'll still try to listen to his radio show though!!

NEW YORK— FOX News and Mercury Radio Arts, Glenn Beck’s production company, are proud to announce that they will work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the FOX News Channel (FNC) as well as content for other platforms including FOX News’ digital properties. Glenn intends to transition off of his daily program, the third highest rated in all of cable news, later this year.
Roger Ailes, Chairman and CEO of FOX News said, “Glenn Beck is a powerful communicator, a creative entrepreneur and a true success by anybody’s standards. I look forward to continuing to work with him.”

Glenn Beck said, “I truly believe that America owes a lot to Roger Ailes and FOX News. I cannot repay Roger for the lessons I’ve learned and will continue to learn from him and I look forward to starting this new phase of our partnership.”

Joel Cheatwood, SVP/Development at FOX News, will be joining Mercury Radio Arts effective April 24, 2011. Part of his role as EVP will be to manage the partnership and serve as a liaison with FOX News.

Ailes said, “Joel is a good friend and one of the most talented and creative executives in the business. Over the past four years I have consistently valued his input and advice and that will not stop as we work with him in his new role.”

“Glenn Beck” is consistently the third highest rated program on cable news. For the 27 months that “Glenn Beck” has aired on FOX News, the program has averaged more than 2.2 million total viewers and 563,000 viewers 25-54 years old, numbers normally associated with shows airing in primetime, not at 5pm. “Glenn Beck” has dominated all of its cable news competitors since launch.

Thread titles in all caps are against the rules.  I used to edit them, but it's waste of my time and people kept doing it, so I got sick of spending my time and now I delete threads who have titles in all caps.  Regardless of the importance of the content, this thread is in danger of getting deleted unless the caps are fixed....
Fixed...sorry I was ignorant.

No worries, and thanks.  It's become a pet peeve of mine over the years.  That said, carry on!
Beck has said not to believe that his leaving has anything to do with media matters and the left. I think more than likely it could be for health reasons he is leaving. He may be having problems with his eyes already...that's just a guess on my part though.

I think you're right the left doesn't phase him or Murdoch. It has to be other stuff like you suggest. I don't think Lucca Brasi's son the judge is ready for a time slot, but I'm curious who''ll get that time.

Maybe he's planning to run for office...
Beck has to be Fox's biggest ratings draw (or darn close to it).  This is odd.
What happened to that rumor he was going to start his own network?  Maybe that's what's going on...

I don't follow Beck or Fox, so forgive me if my question / comment sounds ignorant.  It's only reflecting its owner. Wink
I used to listen to Beck on occasion but his ultra-zionism, deification of the Founders and raising the Constitution to  the level of Divine inspiration has gotten a bit tiring. The man views the world and his politics through the prism of his false religion. On top of that he is an apostate. The less air time he and Sean Hannity get the better.
