This thread is useless without a definition.

It is a basic theological school of thought.

It does not normally need to be defined in discussions about it.

Says who?

Thats a weird thing to ask.  We're talking about a very specific brand of theological opinion.  Thats like asking "Before we talk about Thomism, I we need to define it."

You may need a definition, but it doesn't "need to be defined."  It already is.
More Catholic Discussion:

Go thy ways, old Jack;
die when thou wilt, if manhood, good manhood, be
not forgot upon the face of the earth, then am I a
shotten herring. There live not three good men
unhanged in England; and one of them is fat and
grows old: God help the while! a bad world, I say.
I would I were a weaver; I could sing psalms or any
thing. A plague of all cowards, I say still.
