For The Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart
#41
In nomine, I love praying the Miraculous 54 day rosary novenas, so I have prayed many.
As far as my requests being answered I have absolutely NO doubt they were....
ha, sometimes not the way I wanted or asked, but all our prayers are answered.

One time I started a 54 day novena knowing beyond doubt it would take a Miracle for this dire situation.
I had 2 specific requests. What I asked for would of been humanly impossible to accomplish.
Both requests were answered and granted way beyond my wildest hopes.
She is a good and loving Mother.
If, iF somehow we are only supposed to add one intention, but we add more, Our Lady will then answer
the one She disires and how She desires.

"Mary cannot exhaust her graces, nor what can be accomplished when we ask her."

I have had dramatic answers also  and once had asked for a very specific sign and on day 54 with 20 minutes left, I said "O well maybe I need to try again, be more reverent or something" and then it happened. Yes I believe, and this time I will add several. St Anthony has helped me very much also and St Therese in other novenas and other saints too. I always have a novena going.

Awww, thank you for sharing that, In nomine.
Our Lady is so Good!

Ya know, I just thought of something:
When joining the Crusaders you do not have to pray the 54 day novena, there are many options.
Many have joined, inorder to be in union (almost 100 members) but simply continue to pray their daily rosary
for the intentions.
Since the intentions are "in union" with Bishops Fellay's Rosary crusade, you can either enter the tallies on the Crusader site, or turn them in to your Parish.
There are several options when becoming a member.
Also there are at least three 9 day novenas that will be starting shortly.
There is a members "prayer request" forum etc.
Wouldn't hurt to check it out.  :)

Oh, just incase anyone wonders:
I am just  a simple regular member there.
I started posting about it here because I know how beneficial it is.
It is a wonderful and edifying site.

Beautiful images of Our Lady here in your thread Cindy.  I didn't join the 54 day novena because every time I do something like this I always mess up, disappointing myself and Our Lady.  Although every day I do pray for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  So you can consider my prayers are added to those that are following this 54 day novena.

Thank you, mikemac.
I am certain Our Lady is very pleased with your efforts.
Even when we are disappointed in ourselves and think we have failed,
Our Lady can look into our heart and know our good intentions.
Thank you for joining us in spirit.
God bless you!

I think I have focused on the 54 day novena, rather than the Crusade itself.
If anyone wants to join Crusaders, you can still gain all the merits of the association by choosing one of three options:
(Copied from the Crusaders site)

BENEFITS TO MEMBERS
As a result of belonging to an organization each member receives the following benefit
In spiritual matters the merit is multiplied by participation and not divided.
Therefore each member receives the same merit as if he had prayed/said each and every individual rosary himself.

In order to enjoy the spiritual benefits of the Crusaders you must enroll in one of the prayer groups.

Group 1  is that of Saint Paul: Members agree to recite in common the 54 day novena of rosaries which occurs three times a year.

Group 2 is Saint Bernard of Clairvoux: Members agree to add the Crusader intentions to their daily rosary.

Group 3 Saint Pius the X: Members agree to offer decades of the rosary and other devotional excercises
and also agree to have at least 1 Mass said for the Crusader intentions.

If you wish to enroll please select group 1-2-3 You can choose to be a part of one or all.
Beginnng April 24th 2011 we will be participating in the SSPX Rosary Crusade. .

The intentions of the Crusade:

Crusaders of the Immaculate Heart is an organization made up of traditional Catholics who offer prayer united for the following intentions:

1.) For the restoration of the Tridentine (Latin) Mass and Holy Mother Church

2.) For the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

3.) For an influx of vocations to the priesthood and religious life

4.) For the Bishops, priests, religious and laity of the Society of Saint Pius the X.

5.) For our own private intentions.

From April 24th 2011 until May 27th 2012 all Crusader Groups are asked to add the intentions of the Rosary Crusade Launched by His Lordship Bp. Fellay.

Our main effort of prayer is the daily recitation of the most holy rosary and the recitation of the 54 day rosary novena.

THE ROSARY CONFRATERNITY'S BENEFITS
-The special protection of the mother of God.
-A share in the prayer of countless thousands of members the world over, and this even after death.
-A share in the prayers, Masses and apostolic works of the entire Dominican Order.
-The intercession of the entire heavenly court.
-Various plenary and partial indulgences.

Absolutely, dear In nomine!
You are united with thousands upon thousands.

In nomine, you said "2 more days!"
Does that mean you are in with us?
If so, I have not recognized which member you are at Crusaders.
Regardless, the Crusader's site will be offering this novena for the
"Consecration of Russia specifically, and of course all our personal intentions."
"IF you are registered on the site, give me "Cindy"  a poke there so I know who you are and I can say "hi"
(if you like.)
God bless you!

Cindy I am not a crusader, is it necessary to join them since I belong to the confraternity of the most holy rosary. Are there different benefits to crusaders? What are they and is joining permanent or just for this? Please let me know asap, thanks.

Dear In nomine, the way you keep coming back to this thread, I think it is safe to say that your Angel wants you with us  :)
See, by joining the Crusader's you will gain the benefits of the Crusaders and the Rosary Confraternity.
You have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

As far as the 54 day miraculous rosary novena, we are uniting to pray specifically for 'the Consecration of Russia,"
but also including our own intentions.

So, for example at the start of the 54 day novena you could say:
For the Crusader's intentions- For the Rosary Confraternity- then mention your private intentions.

You may join Crusaders and just stay for the 54 day novena, but I am almost sure you will want to stay a member.
Though you may leave at any time, of course.

God bless you, and may Our Lady and your Holy Angel guide you in your decision.
