When I lived in South America I never ran into such priests.  Granted, they said the NO. But, I doubt anyone here would have had a problem with any of their sermons.  

The depth of liberation theology has been greatly exaggerated in South America. In the country I lived in all business was shut down during Holy Week.  

Granted, I lived in the most conservative country in Latin America...

I would choose the country most tolerant of American adolescents who need to ask complete and total strangers advice about what to do with their life. And bring an xbox 360 with you because you'll take a while to get a girlfriend.
