what does everyone think of this site here?  Seems like this guy is attempting to blame the Church for holocaust!  Anyway, how you refute some of these claims the site makes?

There is nothing Christian about killing six million unarmed civilians.  Did people use Christianity to justify that? Sure. But, the opposite can also be said: there were people who opposed Germany's treatment of the Jews on Christian principles (i.e. Popes Pius XI and Pius XII).

The real $64,000 question is why was Holocaust orchestrated by Germans and primarily not the French.  If you went back in a time machine to the year 1900 and told people that within 45 years a major European nation would try to liquidate the Jews of Europe, most people would have assumed you were talking about France.  France had a much longer and deeper history of hostile relations with the Jews.  If you told them you were talking about Germany, most people would have laughed at such an absurd prediction.

Something big happened in Germany between 1900 and the 1930s and the cause of that transformation can't be explained by Christianity.

For truth.

I would say that something big happened in Europe and Russia that does more to explain the sudden hostility against Jews than pointing the finger at the Church.

The difference between France and Germany in that times is: Catholic orthodoxy vs Protestantism. And the modernism didn't yet strike on great scale.

So you don't think it was the Treaty of Versailles, and the breaking of the backs of the Germans with payback, causing the opportunity for the rise of Hitler ?

As someone of Jewish ancestry who has looked into this, I would say that the sudden change in the German attitude to Jews was the Bolshevik Revolution which was largely run by atheistic Jews with Jewish capital from Britain and the US. The further attempts at revolution in Hungary and Bavaria that again were run by Jews. And then the forced starvation of the Ukranians which had a number of notable Jewish executors.

Finally, there is what is called the Dolchstosslegende which claimed that German Jews had switched their support from Germany to the Allies in return for the gift of Palestine. An appeal from a German Jew to the former Allies in the 1930's saying that they had reneged on their promise of a Jewish homeland further emphasised this.

It goes without saying that none of these things justify the Holocaust - nothing  could. But it does make clear that the persecution of Jews in Nazi Germany had nothing to do with the supposed 'centuries of Christian antisemitism' but more to do with fear on the part of non-Jewish Europeans that was manipulated by the Nazi neo-pagans.

The people behind blaming "christianity" for the Jewsish persectuion in Germany are the same ones blaming Pius for "not doing enough" to save the Jews or even collorborating with the nazis during wwII.
