Has the Church ever declared on anti-depressants and other such pills?

Just so you know, I completely agree that medication and prayer are not mutually exclusive.  Don't think that it has to be one or the other.  By no means.

Go thy ways, old Jack;
die when thou wilt, if manhood, good manhood, be
not forgot upon the face of the earth, then am I a
shotten herring. There live not three good men
unhanged in England; and one of them is fat and
grows old: God help the while! a bad world, I say.
I would I were a weaver; I could sing psalms or any
thing. A plague of all cowards, I say still.

Kendo is cool.  There is evidence that aerobic exercise may have a calming effect.  Relaxation techniques might help.  Some sort of service to others may distract you from your problems.  I've also noticed that there are online agoraphobia support groups and forums.

Would it be acceptable to take a pill that would reduce greatly your sex drive if you are single and chaste? Do pills of that kind exist?
