This thread has parallels to the thread where some women think it's OK to contracept if one anticipates being raped.

I don't remember that thread, but of course it is! OCPs might be a different case because they are abortifacient, but a woman who cannot convince an attacker to not rape her but can convince him to use a condom is not committing the sin of contraception. There is no marital act, it is an assault, and she is just protecting herself from even worse violation. (This situation is not just a crazy hypothetical ... such incidents have occurred in which a woman was able to tell the attacker with a gun to "at least use a condom" ... I can't see how that is a sin.)

I'm sure something like the "rape axe" would be ok. (It's a vaginal condom with inward pointing barbs, it gets caught on the rapist, only surgically removable.)

So he's stuck there while they wait for the cops to come? Doesn't sound very safe for the girl.

Go thy ways, old Jack; die when thou wilt, if manhood, good manhood, be not forgot upon the face of the earth, then am I a shotten herring. There live not three good men unhanged in England; and one of them is fat and grows old: God help the while! a bad world, I say. I would I were a weaver; I could sing psalms or any thing. A plague of all cowards, I say still.

Or maybe it's stuck on him but she can separate and run away?

Oh, I see. Yes, that's a much better idea than what I was picturing.
