The Philokia!
I am familiar with the Philokalia.

Aside from the ancient works included (which I had acknowledged), it is the work of Schismatics.

While not necessarily devoid of good, it is not proper as a whole for those who worship God in truth.

My point being any "list" is short and incomplete.

Now, for a person wanting to live a holy life, a single short book such as the Imitation of Christ or Introduction to the Devout Life would be fitting.

The Eastern Church would benefit from focusing not on the language of the writer, but on the meaning of the words. The fact a given theologian wrote in Latin is not reason to exclude him in any way.
