My fondest memory of Iolanthe is that whenever tmw brings her up he tells the story about how he always mentally pronounces her name "yolanda."

Oh yeah, I do that!

Go thy ways, old Jack;
die when thou wilt, if manhood, good manhood, be
not forgot upon the face of the earth, then am I a
shotten herring. There live not three good men
unhanged in England; and one of them is fat and
grows old: God help the while! a bad world, I say.
I would I were a weaver; I could sing psalms or any
thing. A plague of all cowards, I say still.

The best part of it is that up 'til now I haven't done this intentionally, it came quite naturally in the course of the G+ hangouts...

...now, I'm just going to look for ways to bring it up.

Sticking tongue out at you

Her frequent use of the word "creepy" to describe men is always amusing.

When I had my old web cam, I had wanted to get it set up in Google Plus, and she was on, so for a short while, I could see an hear her and she could see me (and I used text to communicate).

I think that sort of interaction is good for smoothing out communication issues on the forum. It humanised people.

Anyone who knows what her old nick (before Lolanthe) was?
I haven't debated her as Lolanthe (since I'm more lurking around now), but there was something about the style that reminded me of...Psyche! Anyone who can remember that nick?
Anyone who knows if  it was the same person?

She posted under a different name before but it wasn't "Psyche."

She told me once but I can't remember right now. It was sort of an Italian name.
